On Friday, May 18, an Eagle Board of Review was conducted. At the conclusion of the BOR, Connor Howard was awarded the Boy Scouts of America's highest rank of Eagle.

On December 21, 2016, an Eagle Board of Review was conducted. At the conclusion of the BOR, Seth H. was awarded the Boy Scouts of America's highest rank of Eagle. Congratulations Seth!!!!

Advancement News: New Boy Scout Requirements become mandatory in 2017

The new Boy Scout requirements that were released on January 1, 2016 will be mandatory starting on January 1, 2017. If any Scout wants to complete a rank using the old requirements, all requirements of that rank must be completed by December 31, 2016.  A Scout will not have to repeat any completed requirements that have not changed. But to earn his next rank, he will have to complete all new requirements and any new element of an existing requirement.

2017 Jamboree Information

IMPORTANT: Now's the time to register for the 2017 National Scout Jamboree (July 19-28).

As of Oct. 1, a deposit of $650 will be required to lock in your spot with the contingent from Garden State Council.  Scouts must have a rank of at least First Class and must be at least 12 years of age by the first day of the Jamboree.  For more details, please visit http://www.gardenstatescouting.org/Jamboree.
